An inspiring visit to the Currey & Co. Archival Library led to the discovery of gorgeous botanical illustrations by Swiss Art Nouveau artist Philippe Robert (1881–1930), titled Printemps (Spring) and Automne (Fall). This pair of cherry leaves in the changing seasons is subtly embroidered and beaded to capture his painterly and soulful style.
