Threads Soft Goods is a curated collection of handcrafted pillows that celebrates the unique design sensibilities and traditional skills of master artisans from all over the world. They are the threads that connect us to the past.

Two years ago, I launched Threads selling one-of-a-kind pillows made from vintage fabrics that I collected over 30 years of traveling overseas and scouring flea markets, antique shops and thrift stores. They were an instant hit with discerning designers and vintage design lovers, and are a labor of love to fabricate here in New York. To showcase this incredible collection, we opened a showroom in the heart of midtown Manhattan.

Building on our success, we then expanded to include a timeless collection of new stocked pillows with a vintage spirit. I have been traveling to India for 25 years as a textile and rug buyer. For this venture, I collaborated with my most trusted artisan partners. Together, we revived heritage techniques, like Shibori and Kashmiri crewel work and brought fresh materiality to long established processes like weaving and embroidery...adding a dash of secret sauce in every detail.

The back fabrics, the zippers, the zipper pulls, plus special handmade trims, tassels and beads were all considered...little surprises to delight every customer. I’ve used only natural materials of linen, silk, wool, alpaca, jute, leather and cotton to maintain the authenticity of the product. I have poured my passion into every detail.
