Zari embroidery also known as zardozi, is a traditional form of metal embroidery originated in Persia and spreading to the Indian subcontinent, including Kashmir. This intricate embroidery technique involves stitching metallic threads, beads, and sometimes precious stones onto fabric to create elaborate designs and patterns. It requires great skill and craftsmanship and we are proud to showcase these master artisans.
